About the Integration: Bigbelly & SeeClickFix
This February, 2019, Bigbelly announced the launch of the CLEAN API (Application Program Interface), which allows developers to integrate with CLEAN’s leading edge software management platform. SeeClickFix, the preeminent platform for non-emergency repair requests and data, was the first to integrate with CLEAN’s API.
Now integrated with Bigbelly’s API, cities who already use SeeClickFix can receive & process notifications about their Bigbelly stations through that platform. The same system in which they manage public service requests provides real-time Bigbelly alerts. The rich public service request data collected by SeeClickFix now includes waste collection and Bigbelly usage information!
Cambridge, Massachusetts is one of the first cities to deploy the Bigbelly-SeeClickFix integration. “As longtime partners of both Bigbelly and SeeClickFix, we are thrilled that these tools are now integrated to be even more user friendly for our day-to-day operations,” commented Dan Riviello, 311 Project Manager, who advocated for Cambridge’s use of the integration.
“For a department like ours that uses many technology platforms, the ability for systems to communicate with each other is important,” said John Fitzgerald, Environmental Services Manager at Cambridge Public Works. “The new integration between Bigbelly and SeeClickFix has further streamlined the way we process requests and dispatch crews for core services like waste bin collections.”
