Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst

Position Description:

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the Bigbelly financial planning and analysis function.  The position will be a key contributor the Company’s finance function and will be responsible to provide context and intelligence to the financial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation of the Company’s annual budget
  • Development of forecasting models including quarterly P&L projections; dynamic cash flow model; and dynamic unit cost and gross margin projections.
  • Create monthly actual versus budget analysis for the company’s operating results
  • Standard unit cost analysis for the company’s manufacturing function
  • Economic unit model creation
  • Assist CFO in the preparation of regular Board and Investor presentations
  • Ad hoc financial analysis projects as necessary

Qualifications:

  • BS Finance
  • 4+ years’ experience in corporate finance or investment / private banking
  • Superior MS Office skills especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment including cost of goods, dynamic pricing models, absorption, etc.
  • In depth knowledge of financial statements
  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.com a plus
  • Highly motivated individual able to carry a task from start to finish with limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work well with others and present financial topics effectively to non-financial experts.

Regional Sales Director – West US, based in CA

Regional Sales Director – West US, based in CA

Position Description:

Primary responsibility is sales, sales management and account management of regional sales representatives, strategic accounts and targeted business development in the US- West territory, based in CA.  Success in this role will require outside sales of Bigbelly Smart City solutions and territory management experience in addition to being an independent self-starter, “player/coach”.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a combination of thoughtful sales strategy, creative planning, and aggressive engagement across the stakeholders of target account list. An ambitious mentality and the ability to be focused, organized, and flexible in a changing environment are critical.  This is a high-intensity position, reporting to the SVP WW Sales . The role will ‘call high’ and all other needed levels and interface with some of the largest cities, colleges and some companies in the West United States, building a high value pipeline of sales opportunities. Role will require travel within the US West territory primarily and some surrounding states occasionally.   Trips to HQ in MA as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Focused sales management of regional sales representatives in West region.
  • Account Management of assigned accounts in territory
  • Bigbelly fleet “Deployment Reviews” with proprietary CLEAN Software Demonstrations to executive levels and mid levels.
  • New Business development and SFDC pipeline creation from existing customers and new prospects.
  • Outbound calling/mailing to target accounts/lists
  • In territory, in-person sales calls, account planning and forecast management
  • HQ Marketing campaigns follow-up
  • Other projects as assigned in support of the Sales and Marketing organization
  • RFP, Contract and proposal development.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years + of sales/account management experience exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor’s degree

Inside Sales Representative – Outbound & Inbound

Position Description:

Bigbelly Inside Sales Representatives play a critical role in the Bigbelly Sales organization. The Inside Sales Team is accountable for strategically generating all new business opportunities for the Bigbelly sales team and for driving small to midsize opportunities to close within their territory. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, results oriented, professional, and an expert communicator.

This sales quota bearing position is responsible for the entire sales process for Bigbelly’s small to midsize opportunities and for executing strategic lead generation campaigns. Lead generation campaigns are strategically targeted towards potential Bigbelly customers within the assigned territory and consist of cold calls and cold emails. Success in this role will be dependent on one’s ability to build enough interest with potential customers via cold calls and cold emails that the prospect agrees to a sales web presentation. Ideal candidates for this position must be confident and skillful at giving sales presentations and should be able to navigate sales calls with ease. Our sales process requires ability to determine customer pain points and key drivers for adopting our product.

This is an entry-level position reporting to the Director of Sales, ISS & Distribution Channel in Needham, MA.

Sales Support Specialist

Sales Support Specialist

Position Description:

The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting Sales, spanning all business segments in our International and Domestic Sales group, by providing assistance to effectively service current and potential customers. This role is responsible for being a Subject Matter Expert in relationship management, on-boarding support of customers and carriers, and continued management of the daily needs of both the customer and sales team related to the order to cash process. This can include anything from invoice issues to assistance in providing the end-product to the customer. The candidate will also have ad-hoc responsibilities for improving processes and metrics across the company to drive business line results. The Sales Operations Specialist will receive information from Sales employees, suppliers, and dispatch to find solutions to improve operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will need to be a problem solver and provide solutions that drive best business practices and bottom line results. Candidate will work closely with Sales, Customers, Suppliers, Transportation and Billing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support throughout sales processes; pre-order, order processing, and post-order documents
  • Issue quotations for hardware and software
  • Generate part estimates and orders
  • Send out shipping information and delegate on-boarding tasks
  • Help assign incoming leads to correct account/territory owner
  • Generate sales reports
  • Process hardware and software orders
  • Complete shipping damage claims
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage spare parts pricing
  • Responsible for sales requests
  • Assist in arranging international shipping (custom documentation & manufacturer pick up)

Qualifications:

  • Prospective candidates should have demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction through a track record of respecting and caring for customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.  Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people. 
  • Strong decision-making and analytical abilities 
  • A technical aptitude and willingness to learn and understand various software programs (such as Salesforce and CLEAN software) and how Bigbelly hardware and software works 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and on multiple tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible; willing and able to change directions, priorities and processes as needed. 
  • Able to work independently and as a team; willing to take direction and able to propose new ideas to improve service.
  • One-year experience in a customer support or technical support role
  • Bachelor’s degree
