We are looking for an Account Manager to maintain existing business and nurture long-term growth relationships with our current clients, support business development and sales to onboard new customers, and serve as the interface between the Customer Support and Sales teams. With a strong knowledge of the features and technical aspects of the Bigbelly system, the Account Manager will help customers realize the full potential of their Bigbelly deployments. A successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with different work groups and departments to improve customer support and enhance customer satisfaction.  The Account Manager provides oversight, coordination, and execution of problem resolution to ensure customers are fully satisfied with Bigbelly’s products and services. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to grasp customer needs and develop creative ways to fulfill them.

Key Responsibilities

The Account Manager will assist the company to safeguard our revenue and retain our customers through alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients; through letting customers know about other products the company offers, attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts and addressing customer concerns and complaints. This role will manage and develop customer accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with clients and liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

  • Keep current clients satisfied through delivery of exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client that can be employed by other departments as well
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Become the reliable point of contact for each customer that is required to establish a strong business relationship
  • Clearly communicate the progress of projects and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product
  • Customize as appropriate the optimal service and support solutions for each key customer.
  • Support and work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, engineers, senior management) to address customers’ needs
  • Coordinate internal projects and determine the best utilization of resources to increase customer satisfaction
  • Encourage revenue growth by inspiring clients to better utilize their assets they own, expand their footprints and purchase accessories and additional services.

  • Manage Service Provider network within customer base.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Be a fast learner in basic Bigbelly product knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of customer service, account management or sales experience.

Sales Operations Support Specialist

We are looking for an energetic, well-spoken, and organized team member to join Bigbelly’s Sales Operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our customers, distributors, and service providers receive professional, courteous, and timely support.

The Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting Bigbelly’s Sales Organization (spanning all business segments in both International and Domestic Sales groups) by providing assistance to effectively service current and potential customers. This role is responsible for being a Subject Matter Expert in relationship management, onboarding support of customers and carriers, and continued management of the daily needs of both Customers and Sales Organization related to the order-to-cash process. This can include anything from invoice issues to assistance in providing the end-product to the customer.

The candidate will also have ad-hoc responsibilities for improving processes and metrics across the company to drive business results. The Sales Operations Support Specialist will receive information from Sales, Suppliers, and Dispatch to find solutions to improve operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will need to be a problem solver and provide solutions that drive best business practices and bottom-line results. Candidate will work closely with Sales, Customers, Suppliers, Transportation and Billing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support throughout sales processes; pre-order, order processing, and post-order documents
  • Issue quotations for hardware and software
  • Send out shipping information and delegate on-boarding tasks
  • Generate sales reports
  • Process hardware and software orders
  • Complete shipping damage claims
  • Responsible for sales requests
  • CRM (Salesforce.com) administration.  Provide end-user support for CRM – incumbent will provide day-to-day support for end user questions on sales force automation, lead management, and training.
  • Work to continually improve the data quality in CRM
  • Assist in arranging international shipping (custom documentation & manufacturer pick up)

Qualifications & Experience

Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative

We are looking to fill an entry level CSR Role. (0-2 years exp.) This Role would be responsible for ensuring that customers, distributors, and service providers receive professional, courteous support with regards to the company’s products, software and services. Through email, telephone calls, and direct contact, position is responsible for remotely diagnosing problems and determining a resolution, managing the processing of spare part orders, as well as handling customer inquiries, warranty claims and resolution of customer complaints. This position is also responsible to initiate for initiating requests for field service and providing estimates and processing parts orders and provide remote diagnostic for the install base. Schedules and coordinates the service and the return of product using established RMA practices in an efficient and timely manner. Follows established company guidelines on servicing and repairs/returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for customers and service providers.
  • Follow up with customers, update and close cases in Sales Force.
  • Process spare parts orders. -Process all customer service orders in a timely manner, and maintain customer logs, records, and files.
  • Analyze customer problems and implement appropriate corrective action to initiate field service if necessary.
  • Generate field service tickets and RMAs as needed.
  • Track and report on warranty issues, parts, and customer returns.
  • Track and report on Corrective Action status of the installed base.
  • Monitor the CLEAN software system.
  • Monitor and proactively repair key account fleets as identified by management.

We are looking to add a creative, self-starting UI/UX Developer to our current software development team.  This position is based in our Needham, MA office and offers the option of working remotely a few days of the week.

This is a technical role for an individual contributor; You must have UI/UX experience in defining web applications (mobile application development is also desirable), along with a proven track record of working as an individual technical contributor, writing code, for web applications.

This role plays a critical part in leading Bigbelly software development to maintaining our status as an industry leader by providing the best digital experience for our customers.  Bigbelly has an exciting development roadmap for expanding our current capabilities on both the web application and mobile application of our product ecosystem.  You will be tasked with helping the company develop user friendly digital tools and set the strategy for years to come.

You need to be able to thrive in a small nimble team environment and be flexible and ready to prototype, demonstrate, develop, and test new features and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the current UI written with JSP, Javascript, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, and HTML5
  • Maintain (and work to replace) legacy front end code written with JSP/JSTL/YUI and other web technologies
  • Explore modern development frameworks and make design decisions for future development direction
  • Storyboard, prototype, and present UI/UX concepts for both “CLEAN” web app and “CLEANMobile” iOS/Android apps
  • Document designs and code using state diagrams, flowcharts, and other techniques
  • Define and implement detailed engineering specifications, validation plans, and internal processes
  • Work hand-in-hand with your fellow software developers to deliver exciting solutions to a broad set of user types

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of a proven track record developing and executing user experiences using Javascript, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, and HTML5 (required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete ownership of the entire contract process, including the drafting, review, evaluation, negotiation, execution, management, and administration of all company contracts
  • Draft, publish and update all standard contract templates (service and subscription agreements, purchase and sale agreements, non-disclosure agreements, distribution agreements, license agreements, telecom agreements, contractor agreements, supplier agreements, vendor agreements, etc.)
  • Lead contract review process of customer proposed terms and provide redlined recommendations on all non-standard contracts
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts directly with customer attorneys or purchasing staff
  • Manage and administer all contracts, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations and Finance to guide execution and performance across all lines of business
  • Ensure contract compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing, service level agreements, etc.)
  • Maintain repository of contractual records and documentation.
  • Track and monitor existing agreements, as well as pending deals and upcoming expiration/renewals
  • Participate in proposal and bid preparation; compile and submit bid responses including pricing, business information, licenses and contract terms or exceptions
  • Work directly with Sales, Operations and Executive team throughout contract process; Advise in solving challenges such as assessment of risk, profit impact, special contractual provisions, customer expectations, etc.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration that support business strategy
  • Provide guidance and training to Sales, Operations and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
  • Work with Finance team to understand economic impact of terms and ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements (such as payment terms, pricing and discounting policies, etc.)
  • Ensure signed contracts are communicated to all stakeholders to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
  • Coordinate, initiate and monitor filings for all municipality and state licenses and any other vendor requirements
  • Work closely with financing partners to coordinate funding requirements as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Legal training desired
  • 4+ years’ experience in a sales support, contract administration or paralegal role
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and customer service
  • Excel and Word proficiency necessary, Salesforce a plus
  • Possess strong analytical skills to problem solve and understand complex contract terms
  • Demonstrates understanding of the urgency of requests and how to effectively prioritize them
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and solid writing and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to look at a process holistically and suggest efficiency and automation tactics
  • Experience with municipalities a plus
